The NFT Culture in Africa

There's this cultural movement in Africa called Afro-futurism that combines images and styles from Africa's pre-colonial traditional culture with optimistic forward looking ideas about humanity. And so the versions of those ideas that I'm not a big fan of are like, you know, there's these NFT party events in New York City where you have like a dozen Lamborghini is parked outside. But there are versions of NFT culture that can work well.
