What Did It Mean to Be a Catholic?
H henry the eighth was an interesting character. He thought that at the end of his reign, the church would basically go back to being catholic and be loyal to rome. But what actually happened was something completely different. For e, for the next 300 years, essentially you were persecuted if you were a catholic. And we had that burgas tell us: 'I don't get easy' It's complicated but this is our share in history.
