The Story of My Heroism

The story of my heroism was told and retold to our local friends as well as anyone who would listen once my classmates drank enough. This time when it came to drinks I just stuck with my beer every so often and for food I would nibble on a couple of crackers from the snack platter on our table. Jen took notice after her second round of shots and asked why I was being so reserved in my consumption. Her eyebrow shot up in her mouth open slightly in shock. She laughed it off and said, well alright then hot shot. We'll see.
