The Differences Between Octant and Quadratic Funding
Octant is a public goods fund that lets people stake in and vote on where the funds go. It's similar to quadratic funding or some of the experiments that say optimism has done with retroactive public goods funding. But there are more differences than the similarities, says co-founder John Defterios. "The biggest difference between what we do and what other things that happens," he adds, 'is that we have a build in algorithm for the matching fund"
