The Disorientation Effect of Negative Space

There's one show that I've been really enjoying which uses those kind of techniques to disorient you is the thing called Mr. Robot. And it's a great use of negative space for example. You'll have your character squished up against the side of the wrong side of the frame. It makes you doubt whether what you're watching is real or not, which really serves the story. That's why I was watching this as well. Because somebody had mentioned what interesting way of framing was they would have a wide shot and the character would be sitting right on the bottom of frame with a huge amount of headroom and sideroom.
