Travel Writing - What's the Difference?

I didn't really consider a business until probably after that New York Times hit. I'd be like, hey, wait, who is this guy? And then go on a bunch of other radio shows. What separates someone who's been able to make it like you versus the other people that want to have these travel writing businesses? Two things. First, I don't do it for myself. I teach other people how to travel the world on the budget. But I always think about how does this help somebody else travel? So a lot of other travel a lot. They just want to get paid. Outlasting your competition is a big component of succeeding in business.
