What Happened to Gun Control Laws?

In the majority's view, if there's an individual constitutional right, you can't have a total ban on possessing what the court called the most popular gun in the country at home. The message from hellar was, sure, you can ha of some gun control laws. But the reason why heller is important when it comes to gun control is that once the supreme court decides that the second amendment is a constitutionally protected individual right, it means that every conceivable gun control measure can be challenged in court.
