Barcelona played a very simple tactical style last year, but with very good players it was very effective. It was just get the ball to your tricky skilled wingers, have Lewandowski in the middle, support them and let those guys cook. But there wasn't anything particularly avant-garde about what Javi brought to this Barcelona team.
