The jury did not find it convincing. They thought, these guys are sus. And basically that there was like a 90 % chance that this picture was taken some other time. But then brannike decided he got a book deal and he hired a woman to basely cowrite his book. She found receipts and financial records from october 19 80 that seemed to prove that he wasn't in paris on the days said he was in paris. So then his, like, book kind of blew up, and then he was discredited all over again. There's no kind of unimpeachable, perfect witness that can say that they were there, or whose story completely lines up. One
