protocol buffers is of a formalization of that and then this tool would maybe write the Python code that understands the particular exchange. protos are very efficient binary formats over they use things like variable length integer encoding so the same message will be significantly more compact in perturbuf as it will be in JSON. There's a ton of value to feel like I can point my web browser or post-man or something at that and see the answer yes rightlike that goes a long ways.
