AI and the Future of Markets

I see systems performing to some extent a clerical function in the same way that large legal documents can be poured through by a machine. Those sorts of things are very useful exercises to do but they don't replace the investment decision. So for example, let's say that the billion prices product project gives you a better spot inflation number than you can get elsewhere. And nobody cares about it. Nobody looks at it. It's unlikely to have a big impact on prices even if it's conceptually more accurate. Whereas if some people start to use it, then it for a time at least it becomes more effective. That's kind of how strategies work if you have the best strategy in the world
