W.H.Y. is a public radio show about Lebanese-American life and culture. In his comedy, Jad is espousing many of the values public radio claims to hold. He went so far beyond that in a way that's protected speech, but it still violates the norms of the environment in which he was working. The people most likely to hold these censorious views are privileged white liberals.
