How Celestia's Erasure Coating Works

Celeste uses read Solomon erasure encoding and in Ethereum they use what's called KZG commitments. The difference there is that in erasure coating It's possible for you to basically forge to pretend like you're you're yet that you when you extend the data You can do it in an honest way or a malicious way where it looks like you extended it. In Celestia, we are actively researching ZK Provements so something that we might actually get most of both worlds by using these two approaches.
