Martin Luther King Jr. later wrote how he could hear through the receiver, all these people behind AD, singing the song that had become the anthem of the civil rights movement, we shall overcome. By the dozens and then scores and then hundreds, these people gathered on the street. And they were trying to like basically, in some sense, you know, that white people, the, the clan was talking like, we got to reclaim the night.
