The Advantages of Air Canada Aeroplane
If you were transferring to United in the past, you were transferring from those major transferable currencies. The first option I would look at is Air Canada Aeroplane. They've reasonably priced awards much cheaper than United at a stop over and they also offer flexible awards. So it may cost you a few more miles, but it may open up some additional possibilities for getting to and from Europe.
