What Happened to Silanka's Food Prices?

Srilanka's us. Dollar reserves went from nearly eight billion in two thousand 19, down to one point six billion in two Thousand 21. The total foreign debt that they owe right now is 51 billion, and they are not paying any of that. They don't have us dollars to be able to trade with other countries to have the imports of gas that they need, of petrol, of food, of medicine,. All these things that are pretty critical to keeping a society running. And because of all that, there is now no money left to pay to import essential goods.
