Coaching industry has resisted adopting aspects of professionalisation, says Richard Bailey. Professionalism is basically a form of regulation and you need to be essentially professionally regulated. In the UK, certainly in the UK, there is no process. So we're trying to bring about this change at a cultural level. You know, so let's actually get coaches to adopt notions of children's rights,. Bring others into the fold and hold each other accountable for their actions.
