elsistine is the rate limiting step or compound in glud tyon synthesis. It basically means that without an adequate concentration of elsistin, we cannot make gludothyon. By supplementing aneceta e sistine, you are allowing more of that liberation of those proteins to happen,. which then in turn would allow sistin to become a part of that tripeptide of gludothion as that synthesis is happening.
