Aaron's attorneys used a mere presence defence, which is basically an argument that guilt cannot be established simply because the defendant happened to be at the scene of a crime. The prosecution did not need to convince the jury that aaron him lf had pulled the trigger to charge him with murder. He was charged his two bodies, carlos ortes and ernest bo wallace, alongside arrand but not in the same trial. And i think we can both agree, like aaron was really the only one who had the motive to kill odin lloyd.
