The Mendelian Randomization of C-Tep Activity

C-TEP activity is largely genetic. For every one microgram per milliliter decrease in a genetically determined C-TEP concentration, we're going to see about a 0.1 millimole per liter reduction in LDL-C and triglyceride. These people tend to live a very long life. They have less heart disease. The relation with brain lipid metabolism, there's much more known about that now than, let's say, two years ago.
