Should India Collaborate With Other Nations?

Even though India has placed an order for 470 aircraft, we still cannot extract any technology out of them. That's the duopoly that these two companies have and they essentially have elbowed everybody out of the market. They will simply say we are not willing to give technology, we'll give the aircraft. And if you insist, then you can go look elsewhere and there's nowhere else to look. So that's the deal. Now the other question is about should India collaborate with other nations? Well, one possibility is India should go ahead and buy the Embraer company. The Indian government or private firms should go in buy Embraer, whatever it costs buy it.
