The Problem With Time Series

The problem with time series is that you are very quickly dealing with huge amounts of data. Getting all these data every five days at 10-meter resolution on a wide area means huge amounts ofdata. So this means that you need computational resources, which may be expensive. But I think it's just a matter of inertia in the remote sensing community where for many, many years we have been using one or two images together to produce the results.
