Having robust analytics can be incredibly useful jumping off point. It depends on how much longitudinal data you're able to get. If your product launched two months ago, you're probably not going to be able to do really useful time-based modeling. But you can at least say, what are the things people are doing over and over again in our product? And then using that to start understanding why they're doing it.
