How to Sail Across the Atlantic With a Boat
We made a, we didn't plan to make a stop, but we made one on the Arknies. We had very light winds from Holland to Scotland. There was absolutely no waves, no swell, no nothing. I've never seen the North Sea like that. If you're far enough north, you have the winds in the back. However, all the depressions were very far north that year. The goal was to stay to the south of the depressions to get the following winds. So obviously we didn't manage that and sailed 17 days upwind.
