I was interested in Elsa being a pianist. How obvious was that to you? I could see why because of the relationship with Arthur. But did you consider her to be another sort of musician at any point? Yeah it's a great question. No it was always going to be the piano and it was something to do with with the feeling of the keys on the fingers. And so without music I just lay on the floor and listen to it. A lot of ravi Shankar and always Philip Glass too. Even Sophia is listening to Philip Glass when Ingrid appears on a horse.
