The Playfulness of Play on the Left
Stuart Brandt: In both cases, people are deconstructing the system. But I think that you have to look at the underlying motivation for what's going on. A lot of the play that happens on the alt-right is either motivated by like a nostalgia for authoritarianism or it's just very selfish. And I feel like the examples of play on the left that we're talking about are more to expose hypocrisy.
