Crows and ravens are different species, but they're in the same genus. The main things to look for is ravens are about two and a half times the size of a crow. If youre lege out and you see a crow and you go, that is the biggest bleep ble crow i've ever seen, it's probably cause it's a raven. Crows have more sort of squared tails, versus ravens have this really distinct, wedge shaped tail.
