The New Revised Standard Version of the Bible

I can't read biblical Hebrew or biblical Greek. My language skills are non-existent. Decades of watching French movies has failed to improve my understanding of vocabulary. Thus I have to rely on translations into English. In a field racked by acrimony and contention, I want to at least avoid the charge of using biased translations.
