The Importance of Rationality in Parenting
It's very difficult to be rational about parenting because, you know, all sorts of issues like love, distort our thinking. I remember it shocked a whole bunch of people 15 years ago when this audio of Alec Baldwin getting into a fight with his daughter leaked. It's just not something that a lot of people should have this incredible confidence about judging other people on how they parent. So I am open to the idea that I'm missing some crucial context or facts here.
