The Importance of Control
I used to think that collapse was going to save us. Now I'm more of the mind that it reaches a choice point. And then, and where we where it becomes vulnerable but intolerable to who we want to become or who we really are. So in order to tolerate it, we have to shut down even more of our humanity and our aliveness. But that climate change or Y2K or economic collapse or none of these things are going to rescue us from ourselves and rescue us from the necessity of making a choice.
