There are many ways to chip away at carbon emissions. Synthetic fibres could reduce the amount of water that you have to use. And then there are different types of biochemicals that can degrade and potentially, at some point, break down plastics. There's also a biological system that can filter salt water and turn it into fresh water. We don't have to drill as many holes in the ground to get the carbon feed stocks we need to go and build the world. Another thing is just fresh water. So what if part of our solution to climate change was to rewild parts of planet where biodiversity was helping keep things in check? That would be an incredible driver for humanity.
