Set the bar lower. Realize that you don't have to do 100% effort. Have consistent minimal amounts of effort on those moments and don't pinch them something because then you're able to be successful. This is the difference between feeling good about finishing a list that has three things and then being motivated to go and do more. The person that can crush it for five days out of the week in the gym, they're able to say no to cake every time. They've built up that muscle of saying to themselves, I'm going to do X and then actually going and doing that.
