The Ambivalent Attachment and Avoidant Attachments
Kids with secure attachment tend to be suspicious of strangers. Children with avoidant attachments tend to avoid parents and caregivers. Adults who have ambivalent attachment styles are often reluctant about becoming close to other people. They tend to have frequent breakups because the relationship feels cold and distant.
