In colossians three, paul says to seek the things that are above where christ is seated at the right hand of god. He's talking about tribal divisions within the church. And so the mind of christ is directly set against these sort of tribal identities. In other words, do not adopt mental categories from the world and from us versus them once you dopt us as your primary lens.

In this week’s episode David and Curtis explore the concept of the “partisan mind”; what it is, where it comes from, and why it is in conflict with the “mind of Christ”. They look at the social science behind partisan polarization and offer some practical tips on how we can tell when we are (and how we can avoid) falling into the snare of the partisan mind.
