The Spiderwoman Creation Story
Teller: Spiderwoman wanted to gift the Navajo women something that would take care of them. She went to where the thunder gods live in the mountain and asked for designs. Teller: They told her if you would watch the spider and how the spider weaves a web, maybe you can get some ideas from there. And she put all these things together and she was able to teach never women how to weave.
