Lenen rails against the dogmatic assertion of abstract principles which don't or can't take into account the constantly shifting conditions thata one is operating in. He says, we need to put reality ahead of our desires and n ge in these things tactically depending on an array of considerations at a given time. In this case, lennon's freedom of criticism and ante dogmatism served to clarify and de mystify and thus strengthen the movement and the party.
