The Long Run Impact of Going to Space
I really wonder, you know, the long run impact of going to space in a serious way. I mean, what you want is for people to be able to start their own university in a garage and 10 years later they've replaced Harvard. We don't have that at the moment. There are so many ways that could potentially happen. People will talk about things like Xerox, Park, or Bell Labs and go, oh my goodness, weren't they so great? If they were so great, why did the National Science Foundation not acquire them? They could have done that. Like the NSF could have bought Park out. It's not done, but so what?
