The Islanders' X Factor in This Series Is Barzal and Horvat
The Islanders have a lot staked on Barzal and Horvat working as a duo in a long term. I think this is really where they need Barzal to kind of take another leap because he has just kind of deferred to those perimeter shots the low to high passes too much. The Hurricanes are going to be very comfortable with hunting the puck up the ice and not even engaging in that at all so I'm curious to see how that's played from the Hurricanes goal. Sorokin is such a strength in particular in this matchup against the Hurricanes for the first round match-up.
