Nadine: In the most base interpretation of troma, for me, troma is when an incident occurs and i do not have the emotional vocabulary in that moment to translate what's going on. So i goin to either flight, freeze or fight. And you know, three years ago when my father was very sick, shortly before he died, we had to get an ambulance to rush him to the hospital. I remember being in that ambulance, and it was like i was having an outer body experience. That's the epitome of burn out to me, is that you don't realize what is going on in the moment and how it's impacting our bodies until after.
