The Challenge of Taking Care of Yourself
There's an element of pendulum swing, which is let teams take care of themselves so that they can control those metrics. The challenge from a CIO perspective is how do I help all these teams do infrastructure better when I actually have to conform to what they've made? There may be some higher level constraints or requirements that they have to be imposed on the infrastructure. Those conform, those compliance audits are not just for fun and checking boxes. At least they should not be.
