Trans Street Kids and Trans Women of Color and Sex Workers
Sylvia and Marsha started a trans rights NGO that basically saved street kids. They were extremely important in this like more revolutionary turn in the early 1970s they both died destitute. There was never any infrastructure to reward them for what they did yes so I think there's an idea that we need to legitimize the work of trans women and women of color by making places for them.
