Practicing Small, Expansive Spells
christan, lizambe and cate balloo talk about the practice of offering after a spell. i feel like these simple spells, spells of ferings, can help imbue our practice with gratitude,. So with every ask, there is a gift, and so forth. Usually ill give a prayer, a strand of hair or sprinkle of herbs along with items from my spell. Ihave even buried precious stones or rocks, depending on what the situation called for. The spell of reciprocity can serve to remind us that we ex in a web of things, which, when i am practising magic, is always real and present for me.
