The Left's Fear of Hoover

Hoover had almost a kind of psychological disorder that couldn't distinguish between reasonable disagreement and treason. He saw very little differentiation between his own political interests the interests of the institution and the interests ofthe nation as a whole. Swaths of the intellectual class certainly absolutely up the left became for him not just people with whom he disagrees but people who are actively seeking to undermine the American way of life, says former FBI Director Hoover.
