Aesop's Fables

Sour grapes is directly from esop, which i think most people would guess. The grape goes back to the french meaning a hook, which was probably the implement used when grapes were being harvested. A fox stares longingly at this mouth watering bunch of grapes but can't get them because they're too high. And so he sits down in disgust and declares himself a fool for wasting his time on sour grapes that are not worth gaping for. That's brilliant. If i won't do it episode on esop, he should.
