The Proletariat: The Outclass and the Whore Class

I always took it as that perhaps, again, I'm not speaking for Ray or against him really. But I didn't necessarily take it as a way of denying class struggle, but of reframing it in a way that the struggle is more fundamental. There is no working class in the image we would have of a unionized body of workers who have a clear idea of a political struggle and possible outcomes. That does not exist, or if it does exist, that's not the proletariat. The proletariat is what would happen if this mass desire that's constant- that's constantly being undone by a capital, right?
