i want to know, why are people afraid to ask for stuff? People are really afraid, deeply, do not be liked. We have this deep seated, probably evolutionary fear of getting rejected. If you think about human history, if you got kicked out of the tribe, then you would die. So we're afraid to ask because we are afraid for people not to like us. But they'are a whole lot of other deep things that go into is about feelings of shame, and even fear of greatness.
