Air Conditioners - The Good, the Bad and the Unexpected

In 19 32, when the first personal air conditioning units came on sale, they cost to day's equivalent of anywhere from a hundred and 20 thousand dollars. The great depression and the second world war put dent in the adoption of air conditioners. Only just ind japan, where 91 % of houses have air conditioning is following suit. 60% of households in china now have a c, up from less than eight percent in 19 94. But most households in hot countries don't yet have an air conditioning unit. Fewer than five per cent of households in india have air conditioning. Nine per cent of homes in indanesia and six per cent in Brazil have it.
