How to Accept Your Feelings Without Invalidating Them

How can we accept our feelings kind of what we were talking about before without invalidating them where is the line there this is an amazing question right because it comes up when we think about distress tolerance. How do you validate and so it's a dialectic everything ultimately is a dialectic which means there's at least two sides. You actually literally have to label your emotion and understand where it's coming from before you can change it. We're always kind of like oscillating between acceptance and change there are some things that we have to accept and something so we have to change.
