Last year, a Milwaukee YouTuber followed Kia boys around and they showed him how to steal the cars. The key goes in with a screwdriver but there's something underneath it that is perfectly shaped as a little rectangle. That's where you can stick the USB in and you just turn it like a key. So it's very low tech. And it's democratized car theft, I would say.
Turns out Kias and Hyundais are easy to steal. Teens are taking advantage, and putting it all on TikTok.
