The Benefits of Leaving the Force

I started 10 years ago at a different department and I was there for a little over six years. Now we've narrowed it down to towns. That's like six cities that Blue Line is not a cop in. We're only big cities usually have two people do a car. So we have one person do a car and then the city's divided up. That's a tell on where Blue Line is. Do they like seeing officers go away for a bit, get some more real world experience and come back or do they see it as kind of like, eh, you've just kind of put your career on hold for a bit? It depends on what job you do outside.
